So I started my first IT job at Computer Wizzards LLC, a small local business catering especially to residential IT needs. Its not a bad job at all, but by Thursday having to rip hard drives out and scan them to find viruses and then explain to somebody its going to cost 300 bucks to fix the problem gets a little tiring, not to mention repeating the same speech about anti-virus, spyware, and adware is mind numbing. On a positive note when I reimage machines I get to fix them with the right software, namely firefox.
Positive:
—————-
1) Can be online on my own laptop all day.
2) Can Listen to my own tunes all day without headphones
3) Get to work in both hardware and software
Negative:
—————-
1) People who thing they know stuff, but really don’t.
2) Dell computers that have faulty hardware like hookers have STD’s
3) Windows. Namely product activation.
4) Stupid people.
I picked apart a couple of old iMacs and the owner is the only one that deals with macs and plans on training me to become mac senior engineer certified…cool….now I have an excuse to buy an iBook:)
